Being of Viking descent I have always been fascinated by the Norse mythology. Saga was inspired by a cosplay picture and the Norwegian fjords. Saga means "story" in Swedish. The Norse goddess Saga had psychic abilities. 
All Viking women were strong but she was extra powerful according to myth, which I think comes across in this painting. The movement in the hills and the fur is something I especially like, and I love the bright colors which are indicative of my work.
