The 'Thtee of Cups' tarot card  stands for friendship and self love. This painting is the culmination of several styles I've enjoyed exploring over the years. I wanted to feel like I was underwater, enjoying the freed feeling that diving gave me. I love the water and the things that live there. I thought it would be interesting to put the three friends in the tarot card in the ocean so they could play. I feel that the multimedia really adds such an interesting style that moves me and I hope it moves you too. Acrylic paint, acrylic skins, gold leaf and resin on canvas, size 36" x 48" x 1.5".
